Its ceasefire time…… or is it?After 22 days of hostilities the two warring sides declared ceasefire.but there are reports of continued gun battles and rocket attacks.Even if there is peace everyone knows it will only be temporary .soon there Will be another round of blood letting.There never seems to be any end to this vexed problem.The western powers not only colonised every region in the world but when they left they made sure that the region would never be in peace.Be it India-Pakistan or isrel-palestine.
Brief history-If there is no bible there is no israel.There is no promised land.This land according to the hebrew bible was promised to them by none other then god.This myth,not substantiated by any archaeological findings is the basis of israel and the of zionist movement.Although god promised them that land,not once in the entire history did they manage to rule that land,expect indirectly for a period of 60 years when egypt was ruled by king’s called antiochus.Later it came under romans.The jews rebelled against them and were massacred.All this happened around 130 A.D and after that the jews were never the majority in palestine.
Modern history-Although the struggle for the promised land is centuries old,the Zionist movement for the formation of israel started in the late 1890′s.In 1917 during the first world war,the British desperate for support promised the jews israel by signing the balfour declaration,which stated that the British Government viewed with favour the establishment in palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.At that time the jewish population was round 55000 of the total population of 7,30,000.
As the jews started immigrating to their promised land,resentment among the palestenians who had been residing there from centuries grew.There were violent attacks against the jews.The british responded to the pressure from the majority arab’s by imposing immigration restrictions.Although the immigration abated a in the 20′s,it again picked up steam in the 30′s when there was persecution of the jews in europe.The arabs revolted against this.The british sided with the arabs.The jews revolted violently through their terrorist organisation’s like the haganah and the stem gang.By now the jewish population had increased to 4.5 lac out of the total 15 lak.Please note that even then they were the minority.
Britain had enough.They transferred the matter to UN and announced they would withdraw by 1948.The UN decided to split palestine into israel(53%)of the total land and arab state(43% of the total land)
.As expected this was rejected outright by the arabs and a war ensued as soon as the british withdrew.The jews won that war and the subsequent wars and greatly increased its area by occupying west bank golan heights gaza strip.

CONCLUSIONS
1.There is no archaeological proof that jews were ever the rulers\or majority of this land at any point in time.
2.They systematically destroyed the original inhabitants the palestenians and drove then out of their own country where they had lived for thousands of years.
3.For the past 80-90 years they have used terror,and embargo to drive palestinians away from their own country.They were literally starved and denied basic necessities.
4.USA is as much responsible for this disaster as israel because without their support,israel would not even exist today.
Just picture this. Jews formed just 11% of the population in 1922.By forced immigration they became 30% in 1942 and now they form 80% of the population.The palestinians ,original inhabitants are homeless for the past 60 years and live in refugee camps.Of course the jews have been persecuted in the past,all over the world but what they are doing now Cannot be justified.
WILL THIS CONFLICT EVER END?

And India has been ruled by invader after invader since Vedic times. Does that mean Hindus don’t have a right to this land?
How many times has Poland been ruled by foreign powers? Does that mean Poles don’t have a right to their land too?
You are also factually wrong – the Maccabees (Hasmonean dynasty) ruled over Israel for 100 years, not 60.
Pompey conquered Judea in 63 BC, but even as a vassal state, the puppet king of Judea was still a Jew (Herod the Great).
The kingdom of Judea was always Jewish (read the writings of the Roman historian Suetonius), till the time of Bar Kokhba’s rebellion in 132 AD.
Whether the modern state of Israel should have been formed in 1948 are moronic: I might as well ask: should India have been divided? Should Lahore have gone to Pakistan or remained with India?
Sure, I can ask these questions as an academic exercise, but only a fool would think of undoing historical mistakes.
Unfortunately, Hamas and the people who elected them to power don’t think that way.
I have only one question to all Israel-baiters: take a breather from all that drooling on ‘historical wrongs’ and tell the world what you would WANT Israel to do – empty its cities, disband the country, and ship out its people to other parts of the world so that the poor innocent suicide bombers of Palestine feel nice?
When random rockets are fired on Israeli settlements, those very same bleeding hearts start cackling and frothing about historical wrongs on Palestinians, almost as if to justify the killing of innocent Jews. Then when Israel retaliates, they start screaming about how Israel is such a bad boy and why the conflict must end.

your’s is a compelling argument.Ofcoures we canot dwell in history and try to rectify all historical wrongs,especially when the perpetrator of the wrongs are more powerful then the victims.
Ofcourse we cannot disband your cities and pack up especially since there are no other promised lands.
But what we can do is stop continuing to do mistakes.For instance we can stop building new settlements especially in disputed land. the population of jews in west bank grew from nil in sixties to 1 lakh in 90′s to more then 2.5 lakh now.Atleast some of this land were privately held by the palestenians.
The govt gave initiatives for people to settle there.Outrageous law’s like the asdentee property law only add fuel to the fire.
A number of attack on the palestenians by the settlers with the tactic support of the security personel have not gone unnoticed.
Despite the promises the settlements continue to happen to this day.
I can argue for the palsetenians and you can argue for the jews and it can go on and on.But thats not the point.The point is the solution.What kind of isreal do you want your grandchildren to inherit?.A one which is in perpetual war or a one which is in peace with the world?

I’m sorry, but as much as I tried enjoying your historical analysis, it is so inaccurate it hurts. Just as an example – Antiochus was a Greek king, not Egyption, and until 70AD the Jews were the majority. After that the Romans deported most of them, but they still maintained a constant population in Israel until around 650AD – when they were taken over by the ARABS, who burned down their cities. Yes, all those nasty things you claim Israel does to to Palestinians were already done before – again and again – by the Arabs to the Jews.

Historical facts really dont matter much here….. thats not the point. Its like Mexico taking over texas because at some point it was theirs or bc a religious texts says it so. Come on!! These are human beings that are being killed, driven away from their home, from their life….The jews should have first been grateful that someone gave them a piece of land to live in, bc they had been killed and kicked out everywhere else..second, they should have respected the people of the land they were now inhabiting.. Im pretty sure the arab muslims would have have tried to kill them and things would be ok, or better than now. so people, stop using history or religion to justify horrific acts of violence and terror. so much for God’s “chosen people” Im pretty sure He is dissapointed.
